A smiling Dr. Currey in a room with bookshelves and houseplants.

Hello,

My name is Dr. Danielle Currey, and I look forward to meeting you.

I am a licensed Naturopathic Physician in the State of Oregon and a certified CranioSacral Therapist and study group leader through the Upledger Institute. My passion is in combining these two disciplines into a whole-person approach to healthcare:

  • Herbs

    • Through plant-based naturopathic medicine, I help you tend to the needs of your body to treat and prevent dysfunction as well as manage and heal from illness and injury. The emphasis is on working with herbs, foods, lifestyle, and resourcing to surround you with the support needed to do the important and often challenging work of healing so you can live the life you long for.

  • Hands

    • CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach to connecting you with your body, your feelings, and your own inner wisdom, which knows exactly what and how to heal. Through working with your tissues, while holding you and your experience in the utmost awe and respect, we can access deep healing on a whole-person level.

Every session and treatment plan is tailored specifically for you, taking into account your unique health needs, cultural background, values, and individual pace. You do the healing, and I’m here to provide resources and support you along the way.

In addition to my passion for working one-on-one with patients, I am also enthusiastic about helping fellow CranioSacral Therapists deepen their practice. As a Upledger registered Study Group leader and TA, I pride myself on my ability to make complex information easier to understand and help you adapt your technique to get you out of your head, into your hands, and into the experience of being an assistant to the inner physician of each person who comes to your table looking for relief.

When I’m not in the clinic or in a CranioSacral therapy class, I can be found crafting with herbs, foods, or yarn, exploring out in nature with my dog, skimming through multiple books, attending a yoga class at Rising Tide, studying astrology, playing board games with my family, chuckling at a Dropout show, meditating, getting onto a treatment table, or attending to the many other chores of existence.
